Perseverance

I've been thinking and thinking about a word. The one that kept coming to me was perseverance, even though I was not 100% sure of the actual definition. So I checked it out.

per·se·ver·ance
ˌpərsəˈvirəns/
noun

The quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult at times

Perseverance is a positive, active characteristic.
Joseph B. Wirthlin

What do you think?

Great word and so true for you I think.
I don't know about this with a word. Is it supposed to follow you through the year? Or is it something you are trying to achieve or think of? Mine would probably something like energetic or maybe I should have the opposite and try to achieve that this year - serene.
Have I understood this right then?

Perseverance is a good word.

Mia, I think for you a better word would be "serenity"
the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.
But what do I know! :)

I like that word for you, Mom.

You are probably right Jo :-) I should really try that word - serenity - and have that as a mantra this year.
Big hugs to you all <3
