Sad Anniversary

It's been a year since Marvin died. Sandy and Lizzie took such good care of him, they were such a help to me. I don't think I could have done it without them. Lizzie wrote a powerful book about his final days. And we all miss him. Sometimes it seems much longer than a year, and sometimes it feels like yesterday.

We all know he's in a better place and he had a good life and he died the way he wanted surrounded by his loved ones and at peace.

I lighted a candle by his ashes and got a rose from the garden. I went with my friend Jennifer to Porto's for lunch and to get a few treats, she distracted me from thinking too much.

Life goes on, and we will still miss him  and will remember all the good memories. Rest in Peace.
