Dec. 1   -Hasse, my sister Mia's husband passed away at 84 after a long illness.

Dec. 2   -Dr. Noda -Covid shot. The Green Chile

Dec. 5  - Lizzie to San Diego

Dec. 5  - My aide, Darlene, passed away in Idaho.

Dec. 7  -Decorating the house. Gingerbread decorations.

Dec. 8  -Outdoor decorations. Pho.

Dec. 9 - Dermatology @Anaheim. Biopsy black dot. Lizzie to San Diego.

Dec. 10-Mary at Hospice care.

Dec. 11-DMV driver's license. Off Street Cafe. Talk to N.

Dec. 12- Sandy's Retirement!

Dec. 13- Baby party at Nick's, Taco truck. Invite.

Dec. 15-Sandy arrived! - 12 Sixty Restaurant.

Dec. 16- Girls walk. German town Huntington Beach. Biergarten dinner. Xmas Market.

Dec. 17- My 82nd Birthday. San Juan Capistrano-Sundried Tomato Rte. Mission.

Dec. 18- Girls walk. Il Gatto Happy Hour.

                            Dec. 19- Girls walk. Cooking. Zumaya's. Whittier walk around.

Dec. 20- At home. Canalones. Talk.

Dec. 21- Take Sandy to LB Airport.

Dec. 22-Nuri @hospital. Stomach ulcer and fall.

Dec. 24- Rain. Talk to nieces. Fettuccini.

Dec. 25- Rain. Christmas. Nice gifts :) Sopa de galets, turron

Dec. 27- Rick visited Mary. Dame Mas.

Dec. 30- Mary passed away at 83, in Prescott, AZ

NOVEMBER RECAP 2025

Happy Birthday Lizzie 

The hot days seem to be over. It's getting cooler and rainy. 

Nov. 5  -Went to the podiatrist, my feet are fine, but my blood pressure was very high, it scared me.

Nov. 7 - Went back to Best Buy to get my computer. Later, to Dame Mas.

Nov. 8 - PSP PC @ Office - New Big PC in my room.

Nov. 9 - Lizzie gardening all morning. On her way to go grocery shopping she fell down the porch steps. She's OK.

Nov 10 - To Kaiser to check my blood pressure, high. Crumbl and TJ's

Nov.13 - We went to do a little shopping @ Marshalls and had lunch at The Habit.

Nov. 14-15-16 Heavy rains.

Nov.16  L felt sickly for 3 days :(

Nov. 19- Lizzie's Birthday!!! dinner at Il Gatto

Nov. 23 Got my winter clothes out of the shed.

Nov. 24  To the Dentist. Need  2 extractions but lots of work $$$$$ maybe next year.

Nov 26 To Black Angus for pre-Thanksgiving celebration

Nov 27 THANKSGIVING. Walk in the park with Lulu.

OCTOBER 2025 RECAP

I bought a new computer and I'm trying, with help, to learn about it

10-1  Went to Crumbl and Dame Mas.  

10-2 Like every Thursday, I talked to Sandy :)

                                                       10-3  Gave a bunch of shoes away. 

10-4  Decorate house for Halloween

10-6  Had a FLU shot, and a blood test, all is well. Video talk with the girls.

10-8  Made chicken paprikash. Talk to N.

10-8  Best Buy new 27' PC.  Lunch at Amor y Tacos

10-14 It rained!  The weather has been hot.

10-15  Happy Hour at The Cauldron

10-17 L was sickly today

10-18 Lulu's  14th Birthday!

10-22 To Lascari's for lunch, then Porto's

10-23 Discovered new sandwich bread at TJ's. Made Brie and Ham sandwiches

10-24 L to San Diego

10-27  Lunch at Reunion Restaurant in Brea. So many mistakes. Got free BLT (with tomato)

10-30  Happy Hour at El Sol Restaurant in Whittier.

                                         10-31 L finished the Halloween puzzle! Great job :)

10-31  HALLOWEEN! many trick or treaters this year. It was fun. L was Scrooge :)  Pizza.

SEPTEMBER RECAP

 

September mantel, with things from Hungary, Austria, Netherlands, Czech

The main thing that happened in September, was my daughter's Danube River Trip, with stops in Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Krems,  Linz, Passau, Salzburg, Prague, and  Netherlands, from September 6 to 20.

The month started by going to 12 Sixty for dinner, going food shopping, and getting things ready for the trip.  9/4 Lizzie left to SLC and 9/5 they left to Budapest.  That left Lulu and me "home alone" :)

I spent those days cooking for myself, gardening, reading, watching movies, and just staying home. I went to the Farmer's Market for pastries. Lulu did the same as I did, but for reading :)

September 9, Charlie Kirk was killed during a speech at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. Very sad.

September 16, Nick came to help me with the hose in the front yard. Thanks neighbor. 

September 21, Lizzie came home. 👍💓

September 24, we went looking for a computer at Best Buy

September 25, Lizzie went to LM Theater. I talked to Sandy.

September 26 we went to San Diego at the Old Town Inn, had dinner at Miguel's and went to Lindsay's show, very nice. Jeff was there too.

September 29, we went to Old World Village in Huntington Beach and had a lovely lunch.

AUGUST RECAP

 

August 3 - Carlos the gardener and a friend, came by to inspect the patio.

August 4 - Went to the dentist to get my crown.

August 6 - Went to the podiatrist. To The Source, and to Porto's

August 7 -Had a cut and color hair appt. Sonia called that Nuri broke her arm, diving.

August 8 -Started ELIQUIS

August 12- Tristan to PT & Hospital needs surgery for bulging disc,

August 13- Surgery for T went well for the herniated disc :) - The Habit.

August 14- T went back home, mostly free of pain.

August 15- Sandy & Marty's  32 Anniversary. Marty still walking the Colorado Trail. Dame Mas.

August 20- With L to Long Beach, Fish'n'Chips LBBC, Sunset Beach. Katella Deli.

August 20-30 - Miscellaneous L stuff: Romeo&Juliet in Whittier, Kaiser, dentist, hair salon.

August 23-Marty back home after 39 days and 483 miles in the Colorado Trail, Denver to Durango.

August 31- Talk to Nuri, Monica, Irina face to face. Talk to Sandy F to F
