February is a short month, but it was pretty busy and fun!

Feb  1 - Lizzie back from SD, brought cake! nice day. Nick the Greek.

Feb 3  - Lulu salondday. Casa del Cocinero.

Feb  4 - Package from Sonia, calendar and ensaimada (not great). Lizzie to Ugly Mug

Feb  7 - Dr Chopra, feet feel good!The Source and Porto's. Love my mango margarita!!!

Feb  9 -  Superbowl LIX, made meatballs.

Feb 11- Lizzie sick :( Rainy days 12, 13 - No internet.

Feb 14- Mini roses from Amy. Frontier tech didn't show up!

Feb 15- Frontier tech came, yay! To Ricardo's for lunch, and to get some plants.

Feb  19-Sandy got here! N's 69th BD, my 60th Anniversary.

Feb  20-Knottsberry Farm all day. Fun! The Cauldron for little plates.

Feb  21-Long Beach. Nice day. Teleferic Barcelona Restaurant. Ballast Point sunset and beer.

Feb  22- Hang around. Girls at "Ghost Tour" Queen Mary.

Feb  23- Brea, Reunion Restaurant. Chicken pot pie :)

Feb  24- Nick the Greek. Take Sandy to airport, back to Utah.

Feb  27- Nicole! Uber. Spend the night, Reven taco.

Feb  28- Lizzie to San Diego. With Nicole to Library and Marshalls. Left with Uber.

FEBRUARY WENT BY FAST!

New Year- Recap of January 2025

 

                                                                   Happy New Year

January has been a long busy month, so many things happening! so many things changing.

Jan 1  -I made canalones, kind of a tradition :)  Talked to Sandy and N.

Jan 2  -Went to Marshalls with Lizzie. I made pollo a la catalana.

Jan 3 - 7th Anniversay of Marvin's death. L and I went to El Torito Grill, one of Marvin's and mine favorites, it was good.

Jan 5 -L met with her friend Lindsay, I made a small tortell de Reyes.

Jan 6 - Surprise gift from L for los Reyes Magos.! To Kaiser for some blood tests. Then to Long Beach Brewing company, nice fish'n'chips. Monday talk with Sandy. Windy.

Jan 7-11 - Terrible fires in Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena...Windy, lots of evacuations. So sad. 

Jan 9  -Nick the Greek - Evacuation alarm (scary!) Watching TV all day.

   Smoky skies

Jan 15 - Black Bear Diner, chicken fried steak.

Jan 17 - Got sick, tummy problems, fever, cold. It lasted almost 2 weeks. Lots of sleep. :(

Jan 20 - President Trump's Inauguration!  Watching TV a lot.

Jan 21 - All about Trump and family. Ball parties.

Jan 22 - Fires still going. Trump to California.

Jan 23-26 RAIN!

Jan 27 - Panda Express, and TJ's.

Jan 29 - Crunch Burger. Talk to Sandy

Jan 31 - L to San Diego to see Becky, Lindsay and Jeff.  I had a looong nap.
